In a move aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of pharmaceutical exchange, The Ministry of Health signed today (Wednesday) a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Ministry’s headquarters with several Russian companies, namely OncoTarget, AxelFarm, and Sea Trails Trading Pharmaceutical.
The MOU was signed on behalf of the Ministry by H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Mandhari, MOH’s Undersecretary for Health Planning and Regulation, while representatives of the concerned companies signed on behalf of the Russian side.
The signing reflects the depth of relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation and builds upon a series of technical and institutional discussions held between the two parties. It underscores their shared commitment to expanding cooperation and strengthening strategic partnerships in areas of mutual priority.
The memorandum seeks to enhance collaboration in the exchange of medicines and medical devices, support the continued development of the healthcare sector, improve the efficiency of medical supply chains, and facilitate the exchange of expertise, ultimately serving the shared interests of both parties.
