Introduction

The Electronic Health Portal is committed to providing comprehensive and easily accessible digital services to all users in accordance with latest version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) level AA, in support of the digital transformation process in the Sultanate of Oman and in alignment with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040. We are dedicated to designing and developing the E-Health Portal and its digital content to function efficiently with accessibility features available in modern operating system and various internet browsers, in addition to supporting screen readers and assistive technologies to ensure a seamless user experience for all groups, including persons with disabilities. The Portal also supports the use of screen readers such as NVDA and JAWS running on the latest versions of Windows, as well as the built-in accessibility features in iOS and Android systems, ensuring hence ease of browsing and access to digital health services. We surely recognize that some current content or features may not fully meet all WCAG level AA requirements. However, we are continuously working to improve accessibility as part of our ongoing development and improvement plans with the aim of delivering a fair and accessible digital experience to all.

  • Downloadable documents such as PDF, Word, and Excel.

Continuous Improvement :

The E-health Portal is committed to developing and improving the level of accessibility through:

  • Conducting regular tests to align the content with the WCAG level AA guidelines.

  • Updating and improving the content, templates, and old systems.

  • Training specialized teams on accessibility requirements.

  • Embedding accessibility standards within contracting procedures with suppliers and service providers.

  • Continuously monitoring issues and improving user experience for all groups.
