Electronic Information Security Section
As cyber threats targeting sensitive data and digital infrastructure grow increasingly sophisticated, the healthcare sector emerges as one of the most in need of a comprehensive and effective information security framework. Such a framework ensures the protection of medical data and the continuity of critical services without disruption. This approach is grounded in systematic risk management, the implementation of proactive security controls, and the enhancement of early detection and rapid incident response capabilities—contributing to the creation of a resilient and secure digital environment. Information security is a shared responsibility across the organization and is not confined to a single department. It begins with all employees adhering to approved policies and procedures, safeguarding data confidentiality, and promptly reporting any unusual or suspicious activity. In this context, the Information Security Department continues to strengthen security controls and adopt global best practices, with a strong emphasis on raising employee awareness, as they represent the first line of defense against cyber threats.
