H.E. Dr. Said bin Harib Al Lamki, Undersecretary of the Minister of Health for Health Affairs, received at his office at the Ministry of Health (MOH) headquarters a delegation from the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise in health and humanitarian fields between the two brotherly countries.
The delegation included a number of specialists in public health, women’s health, physical rehabilitation, psychiatry, and community engagement, in the presence of several officials and specialists from the Ministry of Health.
The meeting discussed avenues for joint cooperation and reviewed experiences and expertise in the healthcare sector, particularly in the fields of women’s and child health, early screening programs, and care for autism spectrum disorder, in addition to enhancing partnerships between official healthcare institutions and civil society organizations in ways that contribute to advancing health and humanitarian services in both countries.
